Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Executing preventive maintenance tasks to improve machinery performance and lifespan.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in machinery and equipment.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to integrate new machinery and equipment.
- Adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
- Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives and proposing enhancements for operational efficiency.
- Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repair activities for future reference.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in the plastics or packaging sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to inspect, service, repair, and maintain various manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within the manufacturing field.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, with proficiency in troubleshooting complex mechanical challenges.
- High technical and mechanical aptitude, with a strong attention to detail.
- A degree or certification in mechanical engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
