Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Executing preventive maintenance tasks to improve machinery performance and lifespan.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in machinery and equipment.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to integrate new machinery and equipment.
  • Adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
  • Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives and proposing enhancements for operational efficiency.
  • Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repair activities for future reference.

Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in the plastics or packaging sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspect, service, repair, and maintain various manufacturing machinery and equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within the manufacturing field.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, with proficiency in troubleshooting complex mechanical challenges.
  • High technical and mechanical aptitude, with a strong attention to detail.
  • A degree or certification in mechanical engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
