Job Summary

Collabera is seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, interpreting technical drawings, and monitoring operations for quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, interpret technical drawings, and monitor operations for quality and efficiency.
  • Use fabrication equipment to cut, bend, and form sheet metal components, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and coordinate complex repairs.
  • Inspect parts for design conformity using measuring instruments and document discrepancies.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in improving machining processes and work with teams to meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' operating CNC and/or sheet metal fabrication equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings, strong mechanical aptitude, and ability to use precision measuring instruments.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with CNC programming and G-code.
  • Attention to detail, ability to work independently and in teams, and strong communication skills.
