Qualifications We Seek
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred
  • At least 6 months of recent forklift operation experience
  • Preferred 3+ months of experience in loading operations
  • Basic proficiency in math and computer usage
  • Capability to adhere to a 12-hour, fixed, 2/2/3 schedule, including overtime and weekends as required
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds
  • Physical capability to stoop, bend, crouch, and twist
  • Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled settings with extensive standing and walking
Responsibilities as a Tire Logistics Operator
  • Ensure trailers are free of trash and debris before loading
  • Manually handle thousands of automotive tires
  • Inspect trailers for foreign materials such as nails and screws
  • Assess trailers for any damage or structural issues
  • Communicate with the Load Controller regarding unsuitable trailers, non-conforming tires, and incorrect labels
  • Refer to specification sheets for loading patterns
  • Prepare loads, load tires, and identify defective tires throughout the shift
  • Manage loading requirements as per contractor specifications
  • Transfer pallets from staging areas to loading zones
  • Complete off-loading tasks and manage the loading of poles
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
