About the Role:
The Phlebotomy Specialist will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner. This individual will work closely with the laboratory team to ensure accurate and timely specimen collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform phlebotomy procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Transport specimens to the laboratory in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
- Monitor specimen integrity and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Phlebotomy certification.
