About the Role:

The Phlebotomy Specialist will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner. This individual will work closely with the laboratory team to ensure accurate and timely specimen collection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform phlebotomy procedures with precision and attention to detail.
  • Transport specimens to the laboratory in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
  • Monitor specimen integrity and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR certification through the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Phlebotomy certification.
