Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

At Heartland Co-op, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing the design and production of planned Agronomy, Feed, and Petroleum marketing programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for Agronomy products and services.
  • Hire and supervise professional sales agronomists within designated regions.
  • Develop and execute marketing programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Direct involvement in the professional development of regional salespeople, including sales training and coaching.
  • Help manage the budget and communicate with outside competitors, vendors, and industry leaders.
  • Analyze marketing programs and adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.
  • Plan and conduct market research to identify opportunities for increased sales.
  • Provide post-event reports, analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs.
  • Plan, promote, and execute sales meetings.
  • Help establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout product lines, promotional materials, and events.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of marketing principles.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of sales agronomists.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the Agronomy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
