CNC Grinder

Hi-Tek Manufacturing Inc is seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to join our team. As a CNC Grinder, you will be responsible for operating CBN (cubic boron nitrate) plated wheel grinding radial and ensuring the highest level of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CBN machines to grind radial and produce high-quality products.
- Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications.
- Verify conformance of finished workpieces to customer specifications using precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Maintain working knowledge of CNC principles, including G and M codes, and rotary/linear axes.
- Select, align, and secure fixtures, grinding wheels, and workpieces on machines as necessary to machine parts.
- Analyze and interpret CMM reports and properly offset machine dimensions to meet customer specifications.
- Perform deburr operations to within specified tolerances.
- Operate overhead crane when necessary.
- Report proper labor hours in the ERP system.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties.
- Capable of running multiple machines when assigned.
- Demonstrate the ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Duty-related experience or milling/lathe experience required - Min 1 yr.
- Ability to perform basic math functions.
- Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
- Must be a United States Citizen or a US Permanent Resident.
- Lift, push, and/or pull 35 pounds.
- Stand at least 95% of the scheduled shift.
- Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping to move and set tools, equipment, and material.
