We are seeking a skilled Industrial Machinist to join our team at the Harris Products Group, a leading manufacturer of brazing, soldering, heating, cutting, and welding equipment. As an Industrial Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machine tool equipment, selecting and securing holding fixtures, and participating in safety trainings.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate machine tool equipment, including mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.
- Select and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials.
- Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors, such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
- Participate in safety trainings and demonstrate a high regard for safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with lead supervisor and team.
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience setting up and operating manual lathes, surface grinders, manual milling machines, and boring mill
- Prefer experience setting up and operating CNC milling machine
- Must provide own tools
- Strong attendance record with flexibility to work overtime if needed
- Must be at least 18 years of age
