About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team at SOAR365 as an Assistant Supervisor, Adult Day Support. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and hardworking professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure staff implements activities using specified training techniques and interventions related to developing skills in activities of daily living, socialization, mobility, motor skills, etc.
  • Assist the program supervisor as needed and provide support to staff members.
  • Distribute client information and program schedules at the beginning of program sessions, ensuring proper contact and medication information is readily available to staff.
  • Coordinate transportation needs of clients to activities.
  • Inventories program supplies on a regular basis and replenishes as needed with the approval of the program leadership.
  • Plan purposeful, age-appropriate activities for clients, using staff input and creativity, and develop a schedule for client activities.
  • Act as supervisor when the supervisor is absent.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school/GED graduate with 3 years of education/experience in a related field.
  • Experience leading teams in a volunteer or paid capacity is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is desired.
  • Must obtain Medication Administration certification.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have a driving record meeting SOAR365 driver eligibility criteria.
