Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Floor Department Supervisor to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our sales floor operations, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to provide an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Role model exceptional customer service and create a positive internal and external customer experience
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with labor laws and policies
  • Orchestrate truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor and ensuring efficient flow of goods
  • Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, using company resources and tools
  • Monitor and measure productivity of the team, coaching as necessary and maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates, setting and addressing priorities and providing periodic progress updates
Requirements
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including nights and weekends
  • Superior organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks and capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to train others
  • One year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
