Maintenance Team Lead Job Description

At JCB North America, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Facilities and Janitorial Group, you will be responsible for leading all maintenance functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform maintenance tasks as needed
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve high levels of performance
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical certificate or associate's degree in a related field
  • 5-7 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a leadership role
  • Journeyman status or equivalent in a specific trade skill
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of environments
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required
