Job Title: Mechanic Team Lead

Join Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation as a Mechanic Team Lead and take on a challenging role in our Service Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all mechanical system activities, providing daily information on aircraft testing status and schedule impacts, and coordinating manpower requirements in support of all maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and complete tasks to meet service/delivery schedules.
  • Assist management with supervision and instruction of aircraft technicians in proper procedures and techniques of troubleshooting airframe and engine systems, routine inspections, and preventive maintenance.
  • Assess strengths and weaknesses of subordinates and provide guidance and growth opportunities to reinforce developmental areas.
  • Ensure all required components are ordered for timely availability and perform engine runs on aircraft as required.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of Aircraft Service Changes (ASCs), Customer Bulletins, inspection schedule requirements, vendor information, and all other procedures, publications, and general knowledge pertaining to aircraft maintenance and servicing.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate required.
  • Valid Drivers License required for the operation of towing and other Gulfstream transportation equipment.
  • 5 years aviation maintenance experience with advanced knowledge of inspection and heavy maintenance of mid/large-size aircraft.
