We are in search of a seasoned Project Executive to oversee and enhance the performance and profitability of our projects division. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless collaboration across various departments through effective coordination and teamwork.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction with a general contractor, specifically in project management or construction operations.
  • Proven skills in developing and nurturing client relationships to drive project success.
  • Experience in collaborating with project teams and leadership to ensure optimal project delivery.
  • Engagement in networking opportunities and relevant organizations to foster relationships with potential clients.
  • Experience in quoting and negotiating contract modifications with clients.

  • Leadership: Ability to supervise and guide a diverse team.
  • Organization: Proficiency in scheduling and managing multiple tasks within a team.
  • Experience: In-depth knowledge of commercial construction and related sectors.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address challenges effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Procore.
  • Decision-Making: Ability to make timely and informed decisions in challenging situations.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to adjust to changing demands and priorities.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, managing initial project communications and inquiries.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of contract documents and requirements.
  • Assist in creating and executing project schedules.
  • Identify potential issues that may affect project progress and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee project budgets and report on profitability.
  • Negotiate contract changes with clients, with guidance from senior management.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all support and business units.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, architects, and engineers to facilitate ongoing business.
  • Supervise project managers and staff activities.
  • Participate in bidding, pre-construction services, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of safety compliance programs.
  • Manage special projects as required.
