About the Job

Ruston Paving Co, Inc. is seeking a skilled Lowboy Driver to join our team. As a Lowboy Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily truck equipment inspections to ensure safety and compliance with FMCSA guidelines
  • Complete written daily inspection reports and submit requests for maintenance as needed
  • Maintain accurate truck logs and time recordings in accordance with state, federal, and company policies
  • Assist with proper and legal loading of materials and equipment for transport
  • Operate trucks safely to and from project destinations
  • Maintain contact with dispatch centers for instructions and updates
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or CDL A Restricted)
  • USDOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
  • Minimum 2 years of experience transporting heavy construction equipment and/or materials for paving and/or site excavation
