Ruston Paving Co, Inc. is seeking a skilled Lowboy Driver to join our team. As a key member of our paving construction crew, you will be responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a lowboy truck to transport heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites.
- Perform daily truck equipment inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials at job sites.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company safety standards.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or CDL A Restricted).
- USDOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Minimum 2 years of experience transporting heavy construction equipment and/or materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Competitive hourly rate: $32.00 per hour.
- Double time pay for weekend work.
- Per diem pay for out-of-town overnight stays.
