Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network architectures to meet business requirements
  • Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Implement network security measures to protect against cyber threats
  • Monitor and analyze network performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business needs
  • Develop and implement network documentation and standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure our network infrastructure remains secure and efficient
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 12 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on WAN/LAN networks
  • CCIE certification
  • Active Secret or higher DOD security clearance
  • Knowledge of network protocols, including IPV4/IPV6, TCP/ICP, GigE, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, 802.1x DMVPN, SDN, MPLS
  • Working knowledge of DOD network STIG and SRG implementation
  • Familiarity with DOD CCRI/CORA network infrastructure assessments
  • Experience with network infrastructure centralized management applications, including Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Solar Winds, Cisco DNA Center
