At John Muir Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Acute Care team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our organization's mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:- Provide Direct Patient Care: Utilize evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models to create a compassionate healing environment, ensuring interdisciplinary collaboration and fostering professional growth and satisfaction.
- Coordinate Care: Plan, delegate, and coordinate the nursing care of a group of patients during a designated time frame, adhering to John Muir Medical Center Standards of Care, American Nurses Association's (ANA) Standards of Practice and Professional Performance, and the California Nurse Practice Act.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team Members: Work in partnership and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Education and Experience: Possess a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of 6 months of experience in medical acute care.
- Certifications and Licensures: Hold a current RN license in the state of California and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Skills and Qualifications: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
