Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule patients for IR procedures, ensuring accurate and compliant patient records
- Contact patients, doctors' offices, insurance companies, and third-party administrators to obtain necessary information
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-certification numbers
- Coordinate with referring physicians' offices and patients to ensure timely and effective communication
- Manage multiple priorities and personalities, working effectively as a team player
Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED
- One to three years of related medical office or clinical assistant experience
- CPT and ICD-10 certification preferred
- Mathematical skills, good verbal and written communication skills
