Job Description: Medical Surgery Scheduler

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Surgery Scheduler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling patient surgeries, coordinating with surgeon offices, and maintaining accurate records.

Compensation: This position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Schedule patient surgeries and communicate with surgeon offices
  2. Maintain accurate records and insurance information
  3. Monitor surgical block time and advise surgeons accordingly
  4. Evaluate and confirm all requirements for procedures
  5. Participate in meetings and committees as requested
