Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgery Scheduler for a busy multispecialty surgery center in Mesquite, TX. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with a pleasant demeanor and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling patient surgeries and ensuring accurate documentation has been received from surgeon offices;
  • Maintaining and monitoring surgical block time to optimize utilization;
  • Ensuring all requirements for procedures have been obtained and confirmed;
  • Attending meetings and participating in committees as requested;
  • Cross-training as backup to other business office positions.
