About the Role:

In this Business Services Liaison role, you will be an integral part of the Operational team, responsible for working with businesses to identify job openings, alternative work activities, and training initiatives.

You will establish rapport with area businesses and maintain ongoing relationships with businesses to increase awareness of available workforce services in the community.

This position involves reviewing business opportunities and contacting new employees to market Center services, arranging for employers to speak to candidates about employment and employer expectations, and maintaining follow-up contact with employers to determine satisfaction with services and plan for quality improvement.

You will support employers by assisting with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified applicants, and assist with setting up for job fairs and employer hiring events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of the local labor market
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable culture while promoting the company mission, vision, values, and brand
  • Keep project staff apprised of local business needs and job placement opportunities
  • Work with case management staff to facilitate job placements
  • Enter employer information into all appropriate databases and monitor employer activities

Requirements:

You are a self-motivated and flexible team player with strong organizational, interpersonal, and both verbal and written communication skills. You take pride in your presentation skills as well as your friendly and professional demeanor.

You have a bachelor's degree or higher and/or 2 years of experience in business-to-business sales, marketing, customer service, staffing or recruiting and are ready to make an impact.

A valid driver's license and automobile insurance is required.
