Role Responsibilities:
As a Senior GNSS Software Engineer, you will be integral to our San Jose Location Group, which specializes in developing advanced location technologies for mobile applications. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing C/C++ code for GNSS and Sensor Fusion algorithms within our embedded software.
  • Researching new methodologies and technologies to improve sensor fusion for positioning in mobile and wearable platforms.
  • Enhancing software efficiency to optimize throughput and reduce CPU/RAM usage.
  • Documenting algorithms, software, and test results comprehensively.
  • Collaborating with team members and supporting customers, both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree with 10+ years, a Master's with 8+ years, or a PhD with 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in embedded software development using C/C++ and rapid prototyping in Python or MATLAB.
  • Hands-on experience in Sensor Fusion software development and algorithm design.
  • Familiarity with measurement engines and various inertial sensors.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning principles.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Gerrit, and Git.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify software anomalies and areas for improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
