Job Description

The U.S. Global Leadership Coalition is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Outreach Manager for the Central Region. This role will be a key member of our team, responsible for leading our outreach efforts in the designated states.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expand Our Network: Identify and recruit influential business, civic, military, academic, agriculture, and faith-based leaders to support our efforts in the Central Region.
  • Strategic Input: Provide thoughtful strategic input for the Central region based on our overall outreach strategy.
  • Event Planning: Engage, recruit, and host large educational events within the designated network of states.
  • Communication Strategies: Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies to effectively amplify our voice.
  • Government Relations: Organize in-district meetings with elected officials for engagement of our state leaders and policymakers.
  • Candidate Engagement: Organize educational meetings with Congressional candidates across the Central United States.
  • Advocacy: Mobilize state leaders to contact policymakers during key legislative deliberations.
  • Public Speaking: Speak at local events about the importance of U.S. global leadership and a strong and effective International Affairs Budget.
  • Team Leadership: Indirect supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to proactively engage prominent leaders in the political, business, faith-based, military, academic, and civic communities.
  • Experience: Two to four years of experience in a political campaign, grass-tops community organizing, and/or an issue-advocacy setting.
  • Public Speaking: Outstanding public speaking skills and ability to create and deliver presentations before high-profile audiences.
  • Campaign Experience: Presidential, Senatorial, and/or Congressional campaign experience is highly desirable, with experience preferred in Central states.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated abilities in planning meetings and large events, writing, organizing, and training skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, fluid, and flexible team environment.
  • Travel: Ability and desire to travel domestically on a frequent basis; at least 50% travel is required.
  • International Relations: Interest in international relations as well as a demonstrated ability to organize high-level individuals in advocacy efforts.
