Global Sourcing Director Job Description

The Carlisle Group (TCG) is seeking a seasoned Global Sourcing Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our supply chain strategy, driving cost savings, and building strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and qualify new suppliers, ensuring surety of supply, deflation, and business profitability.
  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure long-term business goals are met.
  • Collaborate with indirect sourcing team to build efficiency and drive cost savings.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of demonstrated sourcing experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Asia sourcing experience and knowledge of indirect sourcing.
  • Experience formulating and executing documented commodity strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
