Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Content Developer Sr to join our team at the Medical College of Wisconsin. As a key member of our Organizational Development department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging and effective training programs for our Learning Management System (LMS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and develop comprehensive training programs for our LMS, including cut-over training for Workday and post-implementation training.
  • Create engaging and effective learning materials, including virtual training, facilitated instructor-led training, job aids, and e-learning modules.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure content is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Deliver advanced training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually, to ensure an engaging and effective learning experience.
  • Administer and maintain the LMS, including user account management, course uploads, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee the upload, testing, and updating of e-learning content, ensuring that courses are functioning correctly and meeting organizational standards.
  • Generate and analyze reports on user engagement, course completion, and other key metrics to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work with IT and other departments to integrate the LMS with other systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Stay current with LMS updates, upgrades, and new features, and implement them as necessary to improve system performance.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, Cognition and Learning, Adult Learning, or Information Science.
  • 6 years of experience in training and development, with a focus on e-learning and LMS management.
  • Experience with popular learning management system platforms, e-learning authoring tools, and SCORM standards.
  • Excellent organization, project management, presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team, with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
