Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for guests.
  • Take orders, serve food and drinks, and collect payments in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Adhere to cash handling procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisory staff.
  • Perform other related and compatible duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three (3) years of food service experience, with table service restaurant experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to carry trays weighing a minimum of 10lbs.
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of service, creating an atmosphere that makes guests want to return.
  • Professional image and outgoing personality, with the ability to project a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Work Environment:

  • May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors, including second-hand smoke and excessive noise.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy environment and maintain physical stamina.

Closing:

The Seminole Tribe of Florida gives preference in all employment practices to Native Americans. First preference is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements, followed by members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes.

As part of the employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended.
