Balance Health is a leading provider in lower-extremity healthcare, seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Receivable Claims Specialist. This position is a full-time, remote opportunity focused on the management and resolution of claims within the revenue cycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze rejected or unpaid claims in accordance with established protocols.
- Manage billing processes and submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct audits and assessments of billing practices to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding documentation and productivity.
- Handle inquiries from patients and insurance companies with professionalism and clarity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements based on analysis and experience.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
- Strong understanding of insurance EOBs and medical billing processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Desired:
- Certification as a Professional Coder (CPC) is a plus.
- Experience in ancillary billing is preferred.
- Background in a medical practice setting.
- This is a fully remote position with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23 to $28, based on experience.
- Eligible for company benefits after 30 days of employment.
