Position Overview

This part-time role (maximum of 440 hours) supports the strategic planning, financial management, organization, recruitment, and maintenance of a competitive NCAA Division II women's lacrosse program. The position reports directly to the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head Coach in all facets of managing a NCAA Division II lacrosse program.
  • Participate in all games, practices, and related team events.
  • Assist in the recruitment process of prospective student-athletes.
  • Contribute to team fundraising initiatives, service projects, and community outreach efforts.
  • Stay informed and enforce the regulations set forth by AGU, CACC, and NCAA. Complete NCAA Division Rules and Modules successfully. Attend relevant meetings or workshops.
  • Actively monitor the academic progress of student-athletes and assist in implementing remediation programs as necessary.
  • Understand and uphold the college's commitment to Mercy Core Values: respect, integrity, compassion, justice, and service; embody these values in all interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Previous coaching experience at the collegiate or high school level is preferred.
  • Experience playing lacrosse at the collegiate level is preferred.
  • Familiarity with NCAA Division II rules and regulations; must complete Coaches Certification Modules.
  • First Aid and CPR/AED certification is required (training will be provided if necessary).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing is required.

**US Work Authorization is Required**
