Support Specialist for Community Living

Position: Community Living Support Professional 2 - Part Time
Location: Manchester, CT
Compensation: $18.75 per hour
Work Schedule: 25 hours per week; Thursday 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Friday 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM, and Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Role Summary:
- The Community Living Support Professional 2 plays a crucial role in assisting individuals with disabilities in mastering daily living skills, promoting greater independence and personal fulfillment. This position embodies the organization's mission and values by empowering individuals to instigate positive transformations in their lives. Candidates with experience in direct care, residential support, day programs, and human services are highly encouraged to apply. CT DDS Med Cert is required for eligibility.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology.
- Familiarity with DDS regulations for Continuous Residential Homes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to provide optimal support for residents.
- High School diploma or GED.
- A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation are essential.
- CT DDS Med Cert is mandatory.
