Patient Advocacy Specialist

As a member of the Global Public Affairs team at Intuitive Surgical, the Patient Advocacy Specialist plays a crucial role in advancing the company's mission to protect and promote patient interests.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement patient advocacy strategies and tactics to advance Intuitive's policy positions.
- Plan and facilitate engagement with patient advocacy groups and other healthcare stakeholders to promote collaboration and alignment.
- Contribute to the development of communications and engagement plans to effectively convey Intuitive's message to key audiences.
- Research and analyze priorities and policy positions of advocacy groups and other stakeholders to inform Intuitive's advocacy efforts.
- Evaluate state and federal policy issues related to key conditions and diseases to identify opportunities for advocacy.
- Develop and maintain slide presentations and other materials highlighting patient advocacy work and impact.
- Assess the effectiveness of advocacy projects through quantitative and qualitative metrics.
- Conduct landscape assessments of European patient advocacy groups to establish policy positions and advocacy priorities.
- Participate in Global Public Affairs meetings and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination.
- Engage with patient advocacy groups and other stakeholders at select meetings and events to build relationships and advance Intuitive's interests.
- Represent Intuitive at key industry organizations and events to promote the company's advocacy efforts.
