The Opportunity

As a Member Support Specialist, you'll be an ambassador for patients in our offices, mastering human connection and delivering exceptional service. You'll remove barriers to care, ensuring a seamless in-office experience. You'll be the first point of contact for patient feedback and provide support as requested by the Leads, Office Manager, or in-office providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use impeccable communication skills to deliver a positive in-office experience through patient intake, same-day schedule management, and follow-up scheduling.
  • Perform front-of-house duties, including check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and paperwork tasks.
  • Contribute to team development through rounding, attending team huddles, and participating in problem-solving.
  • Maintain our technology suite, including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and our Electronic Medical Record System, to interact with team members and patients.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, daily office upkeep, and maintain the look and feel of patient and employee-facing spaces.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, and feedback-driven teams.
  • A proven track record of persisting through change and consistently stepping up to take action on challenges.
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role based in-person with our team and patients at offices in Sunnyvale, CA, as well as shifts as needed in San Jose, Menlo Park, and Palo Alto. The schedule consists of 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, between 7:30am and 6:30pm.
