Position Overview

Role Summary:

The Community Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of the community. This includes managing general maintenance tasks, preparing units for new residents, and conducting preventative maintenance to enhance the living environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional service to residents in a timely, courteous, and professional manner, following up on maintenance requests to guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Execute maintenance tasks for unit preparations, address service requests, and perform repairs as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and visual appeal of the community, including common areas and grounds, while identifying and reporting any issues to management.
  • Comply with the company's safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Trade School education is preferred.
Certifications:
  • HVAC/Freon Recovery Certification.
  • EPA Refrigerant Certification.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • All other certifications mandated by state and federal regulations.
Experience:
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Proficient in various trades, including construction, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance repair.
Additional Requirements:
  • Complete in-house training within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to work outdoors and tolerate noise from power tools.
  • Understanding of safety standards, including proper lifting techniques and equipment usage.
  • Willingness to work overtime and be on-call as needed, with the ability to respond to emergencies promptly.
