Job Summary

The Plumbing Maintenance Specialist ensures the safe and efficient operation of all public restrooms, plumbing fixtures, and related systems at Caesars New Orleans Casino & Hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance of all equipment.
  • Apply operational procedures as required by state and local codes.
  • Maintain a log of all equipment status and inventory of parts and materials necessary for repairs.
  • Keep all equipment, equipment rooms, and assigned areas clean.
  • Perform operation and regular preventive maintenance of all plumbing and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Assist all other trades in the Facilities Department as directed by Shift Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school graduate preferred.
  • Minimum three years experience working with pumping equipment, plumbing, and other related systems.
  • Must possess a Plumbing License issued by the City of New Orleans.
  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, work at a fast pace, and in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, climb ladders, and work on man-lift type equipment.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must be able to read and understand Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical plans.
