Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Government Jobs. As a key member of our public works department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of semi-skilled and skilled duties in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, painting, and plastering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repair work in a variety of settings, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting.
  • Act in a lead capacity and direct lower-level maintenance personnel on projects or permanent assignments.
  • Operate light automotive equipment and construction equipment as required.
  • Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of equipment and tools.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
