YOUR ROLE

As a technician, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, repairs, replacements, and troubleshooting on various models of Hyster-Yale forklifts and other competitive material handling equipment.

This includes working on diverse fuel systems, drivetrains, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
Experienced technicians will also have the opportunity to mentor and train apprentice technicians through hands-on experience.
Adherence to all safety protocols and company policies is essential.
Accurately identify and order necessary replacement parts.
Operate the service vehicle in a clean, safe, and secure manner, following all safety regulations.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, G.E.D., or technical school completion preferred
Proven ability to repair equipment according to skill level
Basic knowledge of computer/tablet usage (Microsoft and Apple operating systems)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required throughout employment
Exceptional customer service skills
Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages, and perform operations using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Ability to understand weight measurement, volume, and distance

Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and manage various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
