Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to be part of our Quincy Plant operations.
About the Quincy Plant:
The Quincy Plant plays a crucial role in the extraction and concentration of nutrients for our Nutrilite Brand. Operating around the clock, six days a week, the facility maintains a rigorous schedule to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Shift Details:
This position entails a 36-hour work week, with shifts rotating every ten weeks. The available schedules are Monday to Wednesday and Thursday to Saturday, either from early morning to late afternoon or from late afternoon to early morning.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will engage in various aspects of plant operations, gaining comprehensive knowledge and skills. Your primary duties will include:
- Learning and operating machinery for processing liquid concentrate into dried products.
- Participating in the extraction and concentration processes, including product preparation and inline quality assurance testing.
- Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment in compliance with GMP regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required.
- Training fellow team members on operational standards and procedures as you advance in your role.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in food manufacturing, equipment troubleshooting, or cGMP environments is advantageous.
Essential Skills:
- Meticulous attention to detail and safety, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Reliability in following through on commitments to team members.
- Analytical mindset to identify root causes of issues and enhance operational processes.
- Flexibility to adapt to various methods, tools, and techniques.
