About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our Core Data Team at Ibotta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving data and analytics literacy throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with data leadership and subject matter experts to identify professional development opportunities at the organizational level.
  • Design data curriculum with a long-term plan tailored around learning opportunities as they relate to our strategy and data deliverables.
  • Build and maintain training resources to reflect the most up-to-date documentation.
  • Facilitate new hire data and analytics literacy training featuring the capability to teach a self-serve mentality.
  • Identify skills or knowledge gaps through training courses and attendance feedback.
  • Schedule and coordinate continuous developmental courses focused on our teaching and driving the use of our data deliverables.
  • Enable standardized training and curriculum to promote analytics best practices across distributed teams.
  • Promote best practices in analytics process, including education on the Model Development Lifecycle.
  • Manage and promote our data and analytics community and understanding of our analytics products.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with training and development.
  • Bachelor's degree in business development, business management, human resources, or a related field.
  • Curiosity and the commitment to continually ask questions.
  • Self-starter who can take a project and run with it to completion.
  • Understand the value of driving business decisions through data.
  • Familiarity with analytics technology, including coding languages and platforms.
  • Knowledge and use of modern data visualization tools.
  • Experience in a technology environment preferred.
  • Some project management experience.
