Certified Nursing Associate Job Description

Bronx Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Associate to join our team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Bronx, NY.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and caring Certified Nursing Associate to provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents. As a Certified Nursing Associate, you will be responsible for observing residents, reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse, and assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and transportation.

Responsibilities
  • Observe residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
  • Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and transportation
  • Document food and fluid intake
  • Feed residents and serve nutritional supplements
  • Maintain a clean and tidy resident space
  • Transport residents within the facility
  • Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data
Requirements
  • Must be able to work as a team member
  • Successful completion of a CNA program
  • Current CNA State Certification
  • Must be in good standing with State Registry
