Job Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms and suites, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms, in accordance with brand standards.
  • Restock essential items in guest rooms or suites, such as soap, towels, and paper products.
  • Report any maintenance issues or special requests to the supervisor promptly.
  • Address guest complaints or requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure all rooms or suites are secured upon leaving.
  • Communicate the cleanliness status of each room upon completion.
  • Handle chemicals and equipment according to label directions and training.
  • Operate and maneuver housekeeping carts efficiently.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while performing duties.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; no prior experience necessary, as training will be provided.
  • Basic English skills required; fluency not necessary but must be able to greet guests appropriately and communicate about common requests.
  • Able to stand and walk continuously during shifts.
  • Able to lift, bend, push, and carry up to 50 pounds.
