Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of production staff to achieve daily production goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance, instruction, and direction to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Monitor and control production processes to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of production staff.
  • Monitor and report on production metrics and performance indicators.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in a leadership capacity within manufacturing with shift or area ownership.
  • 2-4 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team of production staff.
  • Experience with SAP and other manufacturing software systems.
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Working Conditions

This role will operate in an office and manufacturing environment. The employee will be required to stand, walk, use hands to grasp small items, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
