Job Summary:

The QTI Group is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team in a biotech facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating equipment in a safe and hygienic manner, monitoring the production process, and collecting samples for analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment: Ensure that all equipment is used in accordance with processing procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Monitor production: Continuously monitor the production process to ensure that it is running smoothly and efficiently, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Collect samples: Collect samples from the production process for analysis and quality control purposes.
  • Maintenance: Perform minor maintenance work and mechanical upkeep to ensure that equipment is in good working order.
  • Material handling: Safely move equipment, product, and materials with powered pallet jacks.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in an FDA-regulated or controlled manufacturing environment, preferably in industrial fermentation or pharmaceuticals.

Working Conditions:

This is a 3rd shift position, working Sunday-Thursday from 10:00pm-6:30am. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GMPs and experience working in a regulated environment.
