About the Position

As a Project Engineer at Lease Crutcher Lewis, you will play a vital role in the planning and execution of construction projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager to maintain project schedules, ensure timely delivery of materials, and manage budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing construction projects
  • Maintain project schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Work with the Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager to prepare scope of work instructions and technical requirements
  • Expedite, review, and approve shop drawings, submittals, and safety requirements using the project management system
  • Distribute approved submittals to pertinent subcontractors
  • Ensure that assigned materials and equipment are released for fabrication with adequate lead time
  • Acquire and check subcontractor pricing and assist in assembling change quotations
  • Write field questions and expedite answers from the Architect to facilitate efficient fabrication and installation
  • Assist in documenting changes and maintaining project record drawings and specifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of general contracting experience, preferably on large commercial building projects
  • Proficiency in programs such as Revit and Bluebeam
  • Prior experience with MEP systems coordination and complex structure is preferred
  • Creative problem-solving and excellent communication skills
