Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Team Member to join our team at Barry's. As a Front Desk Team Member, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing client relationships, and ensuring a seamless experience for all clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage client relationships, building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere at all times, maintaining the studio's appearance and cleanliness.
  • Guide clients with regards to the latest studio promotions, membership discounts, and special events.
  • Deliver quality protein smoothies and customer service in the Fuel Bar.
  • Handle pre-orders and orders on the spot, custom to each client's needs.
  • Assist clients with questions and product selection.
  • Complete clients' orders in a timely manner utilizing a POS transaction.
  • Maintain fuel bar department areas clean and sanitized.
  • Follow departmental procedures for safety, proper food handling, and sanitation according to local, state, and federal health code regulations.
  • Prepare various fuel bar goods following company recipes.
  • Prepare studio spaces before, after, and in-between classes by cleaning exercise equipment, sweeping, mopping, and/or vacuuming floors, and wiping mirrors.
  • Regular deep cleaning, organization, and service of common areas, including the lobby space, FuelBar, retail shelves, locker rooms, hallways, and storage areas.
  • Conduct small studio repairs when appropriate.
  • Laundry services, including collecting, washing, and folding towels.
  • Adhere to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance checklists.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Availability for two to five shifts, one being a weekend day.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality and enjoy social interaction.
  • Exhibits enthusiasm for the studio and for the job.
  • Must be a patient, courteous listener, able to show empathy.
  • Responding to clients' requests with a can-do attitude.
  • Cooperative manner with an optimistic attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize and work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional cleaning skills and a clear understanding of what constitutes a sanitary environment.
  • Have an eye for detail and care for the studio's appearance and cleanliness.
  • Work as a cohesive team with all Barry's staff members to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and behavior.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years or older to apply.

Benefits:

Subject to your meeting the requirements for eligibility and participation under each program, you will be eligible to participate in Barry's comprehensive benefits program which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; short-term and long-term disability insurance, and; life and AD&D insurance.

The hourly rate for this position is $19.97 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
