Women's Health/Gender-related NP Specialty Director

Emory University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to serve as the Women's Health/Gender-related NP Specialty Director. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of nursing education, practice, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership for the Women's Health/Gender-related NP Specialty program, ensuring alignment with the School of Nursing's mission and vision.
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to advance the program's reputation and national ranking.
- Lead the program's faculty team, student engagement, and delivery of high-quality education.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote community engagement and establish partnerships.
- Advise on hiring, supervision, and evaluation of faculty, including identifying programmatic needs for faculty recruitment and retention.
- Ensure strategic alignment with the School of Nursing leadership team, as a member or ex-officio member of SON committees.
- A terminal degree (DNP, or PhD, or equivalent) as well as GA RN/APRN licensure.
- Experience in nursing education and practice is required, and academic nursing leadership experience is preferred.

The Program/Specialty Director will ensure the following:
- Organizational Champion
- Strategically aligns with the SON Leadership team.
- Cultivates innovative approaches to advance program/specialty in accordance with the NHWSN's mission and vision.
- Leads the implementation and evaluation of all aspects of competency-based education to improve student learning and ensure success.
- Leads strategic action with key stakeholders integral to achieving student learning and program outcomes.
This position is in-person, on campus, and requires being located in the greater Atlanta area.
