Women's Health/Gender-Related NP Specialty Director

Emory University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to serve as the Program Director/Specialty Director for Women's Health and Gender-Related Nursing. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in advancing the mission and vision of the School of Nursing (SON) and the University.
Key Responsibilities- Provide internal and external leadership for the Program or Specialty that advances the NHWSN mission, vision, and values.
- Develop and evaluate internal and external metrics and feedback systems for continuous improvement.
- Develop and evaluate a strategic plan for increasing visibility, reputation, and national ranking of the program/specialty.
- Facilitate the programmatic/specialty strategic initiatives with faculty, staff, students, alumni, practice partners, and the community.
- Collaborate with leaders of NHWSN departments and serve on or lead various school, university, and professional committees, advisory groups, taskforces, or projects as appropriate.
- A terminal degree (DNP, or PhD, or equivalent) as well as GA RN/APRN licensure.
- Experience in nursing education and practice is required and academic nursing leadership experience is preferred.
- Ability to lead and manage a team of faculty and staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
