About the Role

Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Events Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Special Events department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and grow business
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform sales strategies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, marketing, hospitality)
  • 3+ years of sales and events experience in a hotel or event venue
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
