**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Driver CDL to join our team at Republic Services. As a Commercial Driver CDL, you will be responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a heavy truck along a designated route and to the disposal site, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of waste.
- Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in compliance with company safety standards.
- Load and unload waste, operate manual and/or automatic controls, and dispose of collected material at the designated facility.
- Clean area around accidental waste spills and ensure adherence to all applicable safety standards and policies.
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures, and adhere to company policies and rules.
Requirements:
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
