Job Overview

Sparks Group is seeking a seasoned leader to fill the role of Vice President, Strategic Product Engineering. As the head of software development, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and support of all internally developed applications.


Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of software engineers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Foster effective cross-functional collaboration with other teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Team Development: Enhance team skills through training plans, development targets, and performance feedback.
  • Quality and Productivity: Monitor metrics, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and productivity.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5-7 years related IT experience in analysis, design, development, documentation, implementing, and testing of software systems.
  • Experience managing agile development projects and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Knowledgeable in Software Reliability Engineering, test automation, and CI/CD processes and tools.

This is a hybrid remote position.
