Job Overview

Sparks Group is seeking a highly skilled Vice President, Strategic Product Engineering to lead the development and support of our internally developed applications. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the migration to cloud-based computing and ensuring compliance with our policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the development, maintenance, and support of our applications, ensuring they meet our quality and productivity standards.
  • Collaboration: Foster effective cross-functional collaboration and teamwork to drive innovation and success.
  • Team Development: Enhance the skills of your team through training plans, development targets, and performance feedback.
  • Quality and Productivity: Monitor metrics, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of related IT experience in analysis, design, development, documentation, implementing, and testing of software systems in Java, Spring, J2EE App servers on Red Hat Linux, UNIX, or AIX.
  • Skills: Experience managing agile development projects and Waterfall development methodologies, knowledgeable in Software Reliability Engineering, test automation, and CI/CD processes and tools.
