Job Overview

Bastian Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the full functionality of Robotics and material handling systems. Your duties will include reading and working off electrical schematics, wiring mechanical assemblies, and setting up junction boxes. You will also be responsible for energizing motors and PLCs, and ensuring that all electrical units are properly tagged and labeled.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proficiently read and interpret electrical schematics and prints to conduct wire up, junction box setup, and other electrical assembly duties
  • Work effectively as an individual and within a team to achieve project goals
  • Apply efficient and effective manufacturing practices to ensure high-quality results
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and management to coordinate projects and share knowledge
  • Collaborate with the Lead Electrical Technician to understand electrical prints, schematics, and project statuses
  • Provide feedback on prints and suggest improvements as needed
  • Encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among team members
  • Anticipate and proactively address potential problems
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Complete all documentation and paperwork in a timely manner
  • Work with intermediate to high voltage units and systems
  • Perform other job duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical wiring, panel cabinet power up, and energizing/de-energizing in a technician role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
