About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at GEO Group Inc., you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care to inmates/detainees while maintaining a safe and secure workplace. You will work alongside our Registered Nurse (RN) to develop nursing care plans, perform physical assessments, and administer medications as instructed. Your focus on patient care and attention to detail will be key to ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop nursing care plans with guidance from the RN
- Perform complete physical assessment and medical history
- Provide nursing care within your capacity and refer other medical problems to the appropriate physician
- Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately
- Evaluate patients' symptoms, reactions, and progress, and report any concerns to management

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Current, unrestricted license to practice as a LPN in the state the facility is located
- Two years of direct work experience preferred
- Ability to work without direct supervision in performing nursing diagnosis and treatment
- Competence in crisis intervention, medical emergencies, physical assessment, and psychiatric nursing care
- Familiarity with computers and necessary software used by the department

Compensation and Benefits
